School: Arrowhead Day Program/Shawnee Mission
Class: Secondary ELA
Instructor: Tomi Hitt
Client: Lucky 13 Animal Rescue
Problem: How can we bring awareness to younger generations about Lucky 13 and foster and adoption options?
Summary of Project
Students met with the director of the Lucky 13 organization. The director described the organization, its mission, and its struggles. Students then brainstormed ideas to help the organization with awareness as they need foster and adoptive families. Students created a marketing flyer that the organization could use to help families post information about their foster animals on a YouTube channel that could be used on various social media platforms.
