Problem: How do we fight food insecurity in the communities around us? How do we develop plant-forward recipes to be used for the upcoming school year KFK program with other school districts?

Liberty North Culinary students met with Education Director, Chef Mora, to identify and understand food insecurity within our communities and the need for plant-forward recipes to help sustain nutritious meals at a low cost.

This has been an amazing experience with Chef Mora! More culinary teachers need to know about it and get their classes involved in this forward-thinking, community-support program!
