Problem: How can we best ensure we establish a positive branding of our school for the community?

Students connected with families of our brand new school to better understand what the community and school want to be known for. They researched social media techniques and literacy, admin/teacher communication strategies, and encouraged student voice to ensure the school is fostering a sense of value, challenge, and support.

It’s messy and may cause you to question what you’re doing. The old cliche of ‘trust the process’ really applies here because as long as you commit even weekly check-ins, it really can come together beautifully. It was really hard to keep my mouth shut when they were brainstorming ideas because I already had in my head what I *thought* would be good. Good thing I stayed quiet because their ideas were so much better than anything I could’ve thought of!
