Problem: Students assist in researching and creating a virtual exhibit that showcases various aspects of Harry S. Truman’s life, presidency, and historical events during his life. Suggested themes: From Soldier to Commander-in-Chief: How Truman’s military service in WW1 impacted his decisions as President.
Summary of Project
Students worked together to develop a virtual exhibit/breakout room with the Truman Library.
Key Takeaways or Advice
The team’s biggest challenge was some of the technology use, our district is very nervous about giving kids access to various resources/websites. We had to work extensively with the district to get approval for some tech tools.
