Event Details

July 14-16, 2025 | 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
UMKC Bloch School of Business | Kansas City, MO

The Entrepreneurial Teacher Accelerator is a dynamic three-day experience designed for educators who want to equip students with the skills, mindset, and real-world problem-solving abilities of entrepreneurs. Through hands-on workshops, expert-led sessions, and collaborative challenges, you’ll gain the tools to help students think critically, take initiative, and turn ideas into action.

Throughout the program, you’ll explore human-centered design thinking, a proven method for driving innovation and solving complex problems. Startland Studio, Kansas City’s expert in human-centered design, will guide you in applying this framework to create engaging, entrepreneurial experiences for your students.

This year-long commitment for the 2025-2026 school year provides ongoing support through Project Design Labs, social events, and a collaborative educator community to help you implement entrepreneurial learning in your classroom. You’ll meet teacher mentors and will design and launch an entrepreneurial experience for your students, bringing innovation and real-world learning to life.

Educators in Cohort 2 will receive a $1,000 stipend for their involvement in the full-year experience.

Join a network of forward-thinking educators dedicated to preparing students for the future.
